The Children’s Ministry of First Baptist Church of O’Fallon is committed to serving children in the 1st – 5th grades and their families. Our desire is to provide quality, fun experiences for children, that will encourage meaningful relationships with peers, teachers, parents, and especially with God. We invite you and your child to participate in the many programs offered on Sundays and Wednesday evenings as well as any of the special events. We believe in building strong families. Therefore we want to partner with families in the spiritual growth of all children at First Baptist.

Sunday School
Sundays – 9:30 & 11:00 am
Sunday School is the place to be! Teachers in these graded classes creatively teach children Bible stories and basic truths from God’s Word to help them grow in their faith.

MISSIONS in the MORNING
3d Sunday each month – last 40 minutes of Sunday School
Learn about missions and telling others about Christ.

AWANA
Wednesdays – 6:30 pm
An evangelistic club for kids with the purpose to reach children with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

Children’s Choir
Wednesdays – 6:00 pm
Songs and drama set the stage for kids to discover that the Master Designer has designed them with a special purpose and has given them the tools they need.

The Preschool Ministry of First Baptist Church of O’Fallon is here to serve the needs of you and your family. Each week we offer quality, Bible-based, fun-filled activities that teach your child the basics of the Christian life. Our teachers provide a loving, caring atmosphere for each of their students.

Our desire is that every child that leaves the preschool ministry has a good foundation for knowing Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, as well as to team-up with parents in having them be the primary Christian educators in their child’s life.

Sunday School is a program where preschoolers learn about God, Jesus, self, family, others, Bible, church, and the natural world through developmentally appropriate activities.

Extended Teaching Care (ETC) is offered for birth through threes after Sunday School and is more of the same teaching, interesting learning centers, and challenging Bible-learning activities they experienced during Sunday School.

AWANA is an evangelistic club for boys and girls whose purpose is to reach children with the gospel and train them to serve Him. Club meetings consist of game time, handbook time, and council time. Be sure to visit the national home page of AWANA Clubs.

Mission Friends introduces preschoolers to Southern Baptist missionaries and mission-related projects.

Preschool Choirs teach singing and moving to music in a choir setting.

Special Events consist of family activities, baby dedication days, Vacation Bible School, Children’s Harvest Party, and Happy Birthday, Jesus Party.
